VBFF Nicholas A. Kotov (c/o 2018) has recently submitted a white paper for point-of-care diagnostic for rapid and accurate detection of COVID19 exposure. Kotov’s goal is to design a nanoparticle-based reliable, adaptable, and highly accurate sensing platform for different types of viruses. To achieve this goal, Kotov proposes to use photocatalytic chiral inorganic nanoparticles for rapid and accurate identification of SARS-COV-2 exposure.
