The 2027 Defense Basic Research Xchange (DBRX) will be held May 18–20, 2027, in Alexandria, Virginia. 
DBRX serves as a premier forum for the defense basic research community, bringing together researchers, government leaders, and academic institutions to share discoveries, explore emerging scientific opportunities, and strengthen collaborations that advance national security.
Attendees can expect technical presentations, networking opportunities, and discussions highlighting the breadth and impact of Department of War-supported basic research.
